Me?..I had plans that fell through ... so I spent the last 3 days in my studio/basement going between my painting table and crafting table. I managed to finish all my swaps but one. Here are some of the cards that I worked on:

Raising a son, working full time - do I really have time to Paint? To Play With Paper? To Sew? To Play Handy Gal around the house? YOU-BET-I DO!! ... who else is gonna do it? *grins* Like most Moms, I am Queen of Everything....welcome to my world!

Thanks for your comments on my blog about brown skin...I remember being young and wanted to be called brown and not black, but I don't remember hating my skin though it is possible.
Did you son grow out of it? Or did you have to help him learn to love himself?
My friend is enrolling her child in a music class that has children of color as he's currently the only black kid in his class and she fears he might end up feeling the same way.
So I just wondered what you did to help your son when he felt that way.
